Producers of “3 Generations” Brand Were Introduced in Two Yerevan Supermarkets
Eight producers under “3 Generations” endorsement brand are introduced and promoted in two supermarkets in Arabkir ("Mets Grpan" Supermarket, 26/3 Gyulbenkyan, Gyulbenkyan-Kochar Cross) and Davitashen districts of Yerevan (Familia Supermarket, Tigran Petrsoyan 44/1, Davitashen 4th District, Yerevan).The presentation and introduction in Mets Grpan and Familia supermarkets started with degustation campaign. Dried fruits, cheese, meat products, salted nuts, sweets, and cakes were presented at the campaign. The "3 Generations" initiative is implemented in the framework of USAID-funded “Partnership for Rural Prosperity” (USAID/PRP) Program, which is implemented by Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development national Center and its local partners: GCCI, EV Consulting and CARD.  
 
“3 Generations” is an initiative to support successful small-batch businesses in rural Armenia to grow and bring prosperity to their communities with ultimate goal to keep people from leaving from their homeland. We want 3 generations – grandparents, children and grandchildren - to stay on their land and build their future. 
 
Producers are from Armavir, Vayots Dzor, Syunik, Gegharkunik, Tavush and Lori Marzes: Nairyan Dried Fruits (dried fruits), Black Bull (meat products), Koti Product (cheese variety), Nut (salted nuts), Borisovka (cheese variety), Angret (sweets and cakes (pata, pakhlava, etc.) from Gavar, Geagharkunik), Selim (cheese variety), Sari Hoviv (cheese variety).  
 

The promotional showcase, placed in "Mets Grpan"supermarket, communicates the key messages of “3 Generations” concept and advertises the brands. At launch of the campaign 3-day product tasting event was organized in the supermarkets aimed at increasing the awareness of customers on “3 Generations” brands. This campaign was actively promoted through initiative's FB page.

Based on the results of the piloting the showcases, it is planned to expand the coverage of the campaign by implementing it in four more supermarkets in Yerevan during next six months.
